When In Doubt Wear Red

Today's Monday's office outfit was a dress I bought from Macy's years ago.  I love the pattern and the fact that it was white and black which seems to be a trend.  In order to add a pop of color I added a red lip color, red and gold bracelet with red heels.  I wish I would of had a red bag but not sure why I don't since red is one of my favorite colors. 
I do not have any links since my dress and shoes are very old.  My heels are by Jessica Simpson and the mug I bought at Ross a couple of years ago. 



 

Date Night

Friday night was one of those very few nights that Hubby and I got to spend some alone time together. My sister had been asking to see my daughter and my son and decided to pick them up in the afternoon so they can stay with her.  We decided to go have dinner and some drinks.  Below are the details of what I wore.

StilettoMeUp Contest Winner

Hi girls!  I wanted to share this post from StilettoMeUp blog. 

A couple of weeks ago StilettoMeUp launched a contest through Instagram.

She made this contest fun and exciting. It was a small contest but it was very fun to come up with an outfit that I was inspired  by one of hers. 

 

The contest rules were as followed:

• Pick any outfit I’ve worn and posted on my IG and do your version of it.
• I’m looking for the best “StilettoMeUp Inspired” outfit out there.
• You don’t have to wear the same pieces I wore, or the same labels. As long as the outfit shows clear indication of being StilettoMeUp Inspired.
• The picture you post on Instagram has to be new and taken only for this contest.
• Title of the picture when you post it should be “StilettoMeUp Inspired #StilettoMeUpInspired“.
• Make sure to spell Stilettomeup the right way (one L, two T’s)
• Contest starts NOW and ends April 4th at midnight (PST)
• Winner will be announced April 4th.
• Prize of the winner: $200 to shop anywhere online.

The same night I submitted my picture was the deadline for this contest. I quickly went into my closet and started looking for an outfit that was inspired by hers. I came up with 4 outfits and had my husband was kind enought to take the pictures for me around 1 a.m.  I ended up choosing only 2 outfits.  By April 4th afternoon she announced the winner.

 

 

Ok now the winner…..

I love how she put her outfit together using mine as an inspiration. I love the jacket that she paired her jeans with. I think the color of her jeans goes very well with the color of her jacket. I also love that she popped the outfit with all red heels. The white spots on her jacket contrast the whole outfit perfectly. I love that she comes off very confident. Lastly, I love how she put her hair up and that she’s posing similar to me

That is cute! I think she killed it.

Life Is Short, Wear Your Party Pants

Hello Ladies!  I wanted to post one of my past outfits in which I am wearing some printed pants that I fell in love.  The prints on the pants have very springy colors that I love.  I paired a solid top and shoes to tone down the print of the pants.

Neon Addiction

After feeling under the weather for a couple of days, I am finally feeling a bit better.  I always able to wear another peplum neon skirt that I had purchased over the weekend.  I toned down the color with black and also had a black blazer on with black heels.  My co-worker was nice enough to take some pictures of my outfit today and I appreciate her time because it is so hard to take my own pictures or have my hubby or son take the pictures for me. Psychiatric Ward

White walls - Long Halls

This outfit is from last week.  I work in an office so I love to dress a bit business but classy.  Black is one of my favorite colors and love to combine gold with it.  This outfit went perfect with our very white floor and long white halls.  These are not the best pictures of my outfit but I promise to get better just please patient with me while I learn how to take better pictures and I am also planning to use my cannon DSLR camera more than what I actually use it.
